Since its creation in October 2000, Le Garage Moderne has been housed in a former mechanical engineering workshop in the north of Bordeaux. This immense stone and brick building, a veritable industrial cathedral from the beginning of the penultimate century, with its impressive framework, contributes to the particular identity of the association and keeps alive the memory of Bacalan, a once working-class neighbourhood.
