Concert “Vibre Ensemble”

After two successful years, Vibre! is renewing its collaboration with the Ricochet Sonore association in order to offer new moments of quality and conviviality around the universe of the string quartet.

The festival moves to the heart of different social structures of the metropolis to offer several intimate and singular concert-meetings. Each concert is an opportunity for the invited public (young and old, remote audiences, patients and care staff) to discover emblematic works of classical music performed by this year’s young quartets, followed by a time of exchange. Prior to the concert, mediation sessions will be organised by the Ricochet Sonore association to facilitate discussion on the day of the concert and to provide keys to understanding the works that will be heard.

The Bordeaux-based association Ricochet Sonore was founded in October 2014 by music enthusiasts who are convinced that music is a formidable vehicle for meeting and sharing. This project is the result of a long reflection on access to culture, the links between contemporary music and popular education, as well as voluntary and professional experience in the fields of contemporary music and socio-cultural activities.
