Vibre! presents: Vibre! la nuit
Saturday, May 30, 2026
At the Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design courtyard

Vibre ! la nuit opens a new dimension within the festival: a free, fully live space where the string quartet reinvents itself in dialogue with Björk and electronic sounds. Bows interact with machines, acoustic timbres transform, and the stage becomes a hybrid, living playground. A festive night in the magical setting of the MADD courtyard, where Vibre ! lets go and invites you to dance differently.

What is a musical instrument?
For Wooden Elephant, it is anything that produces sound. Using wine glasses, aluminum foil, and various percussion objects, this innovative string quintet performs Homogenic by Björk. A must-see!
The opening night of Vibre! by Night offers a unique musical experience blending electronic and classical music. Wooden Elephant specializes in reinterpreting iconic pop albums for live string ensembles. They have notably reworked Kid A by Radiohead and Lemonade by Beyoncé.
For the first part of the evening, discover Homogenic (1997), Björk’s third album, in a brand-new version: a live reinterpretation for five strings in the newly reopened MADD courtyard. Wooden Elephant has performed these projects in venues and festivals such as the Berlin Konzerthaus, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Days Off Festival (Philharmonie de Paris), the London Jazz Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and Beethovenfest Bonn.
CABARET CONTEMPORAIN
21h – 22h30
Fabrizio Rat, Piano
Giani Caserotto, Guitar
Ronan Courty, Double bass
Simon Drappier, Double bass
Julien Loutelier, Drums
Translating the power and hypnotic quality of electronic live music using five acoustic musicians—that is the challenge taken up by Cabaret Contemporain since 2012. Each concert is reinvented, as seen on stages such as Nuits Sonores, Siestes Electroniques, Rewire, and Dancity.
With guitar, drums, piano, and two specially prepared double basses, they recreate the energy of dance music in a 100% acoustic form. After collaborations with Étienne Jaumet and Château Flight, they now present their own compositions inspired by Kraftwerk, Jeff Mills, Four Tet, and James Holden.
MIRA LÓ – DJ SET
22h30 – 00h
Mira Ló, born Ana Lopez, is a Paris-based queer producer and DJ. Drawing from the full spectrum of club music, her mixes blend melancholy with powerful, euphoric energy, inspired by artists such as Disclosure, salute, and Sammy Virji.
From Parisian bars and small clubs to major festivals—Peacock Society, Marvellous Island, Lollapalooza—across Europe and even Chicago, she has established herself as a standout figure on the new French electronic scene.
