The professional committee

Vibre ! a high-level professional meeting

For the 2025 edition, the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition is inviting a professional committee.

This committee will be composed of 20 members who are among the most internationally recognised in the world of string quartets.

This committee will not be involved in choosing the winners of the competition, but it will have an essential role to play: it will attend the final and meet the young musicians who are candidates, to give them advice and comments. This will be an opportunity for them to make themselves known and to be programmed in the most prestigious concert halls and series.
The committee’s idea is also to create a professional network within the world of the string quartet, and to bring together professionals who can speed up certain projects and collaborations.
