Anne Queffélec is regarded as one of today’s great piano personalities, with an international reputation and an exceptional influence on musical life.

Named ‘Best Performer of the Year’ at the 1990 Victoires de la Musique awards, Anne Queffélec has performed on several occasions at the London Proms, the Bath, Swansea, King’s Lynn, Cheltenham and Händel-Festspiele Göttingen festivals. She is also a regular guest at French festivals such as La Chaise-Dieu, Radio-France Montpellier, Besançon, Bordeaux, Dijon, Rocamadour, La Grange de Meslay, La Folle Journée de Nantes, La Roque d’Anthéron… where she performed the complete Mozart Sonatas in six concerts broadcast live on France Musique, confirming her passionate affinity with the Mozart universe. Anne Queffélec took part in the recording of theAmadeus soundtrack, conducted by Sir Neville Marriner.

Both on stage and in her recordings, Anne Queffélec cultivates an eclectic repertoire. Her rich discography bears witness to this: she has made over forty recordings of Scarlatti, Schubert, Liszt, Chopin, Bach, Debussy, Fauré, Mendelssohn, Satie, the complete works of Ravel and Dutilleux, Mozart, Beethoven, Handel and Haydn, released by Erato, Virgin Classics and Mirare respectively.

Recent releases include Satie & Compagnie , an album released by Mirare (Diapason d’Or of the year 2013), a double CD of Ravel, Debussy and Fauré released by Erato (2014), and Ombre et Lumière , a disc devoted to Domenico Scarlatti released by Mirare (2015). These last two CDs were also immensely successful, and were both awarded a Diapason d’Or. In June 2016, BBC Magazine honoured Anne Queffélec by publishing several of her live recordings. In September 2016, Diapason chose her recording of Ravel’s Concerto in G as one of its Indispensables. Entrez dans la Danse was released by Mirare in 2017 (official disc of La Folle Journée).

In 2019, an anniversary boxed set of 21 CDs featuring all his recordings for Erato and Virgin Classics (between 1970 and 1996) will be released.
