In South-West France, the number of pupils choosing German as a foreign language decreases every year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">With the closure of the Goethe-Institut in Bordeaux, the region is losing an important hub for Franco-German dialogue.
