From room to room, visitors discover an outstanding collection of 17th-, 18th- and 19th-century furniture and decorative objects. The original wood paneling, decorative schemes and parquet floors are particularly remarkable, offering an immersive experience into the art of living of past centuries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"1175\">Alongside its permanent collection, madd-bordeaux presents an ambitious program of temporary exhibitions dedicated to decorative arts and design. Special attention is given to the art of the table \u2014 central to Bordeaux\u2019s cultural identity \u2014 as well as to contemporary design practices that explore the aesthetic, social and environmental transformations of our time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1573\">Conceived as a 21st-century museum, madd-bordeaux is both a guardian of heritage and a vibrant cultural space: a platform for emerging talent, open to artists and designers invited to exhibit, experiment and engage in dialogue with the public.
