A semi-finalist of the Vibre! Competition 2025 and currently in residence in Bordeaux, the young ensemble captivates with its \u201cdramatic richness\u201d (Pierre Gervasoni) and its \u201cpassionate and committed\u201d playing (Remy Franck).<\/p>\n<p>At the Agora du Haut-Carr\u00e9 in Talence, they invite the Bordeaux-based contemporary dance company Les Schini\u2019s, whose work blends physicality, theatricality, and musicality. Their choreographic language explores contrasting states, from fluid gestures to more raw and offbeat forms.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k opens the program with his Third String Quartet, the shortest of the six, featuring tightly woven polyphony, a completely new form, and remarkable rhythmic inventiveness. The enigmatic sonorities of Henri Dutilleux\u2019s only string quartet, balanced between harmony and timbre, evoke a nocturnal, incantatory, almost cosmological world. Finally, Sofia Gubaidulina concludes the program with her Third Quartet, written in 1987, where senz\u2019arco takes center stage.
