In partnership with the association Les Caprices de Marianne and the Académie de Bordeaux, VIBRE! is involved in a long-term action to allow 3 classes of secondary schools in Bordeaux to experience the festival from the inside. The programme includes a meeting with musicians beforehand, discovery of the instrument and listening to the repertoire, before experiencing the great thrill of attending a concert in class! This in situ concert will be given by the Agate Quartet programmed as part of the festival. Pupils will also be able to attend some of the festival’s concerts in a privileged way. This action is intended to evolve and is a first step before allowing the pupils to discover the international string quartet competition scheduled for May 2022.

The Bordeaux-based association Les caprices de Marianne works to promote and disseminate classical music, and more specifically chamber music, in the New Aquitaine region. It strives to reach out to all audiences, especially the excluded, but also to work carefully on the form of its actions to deconstruct the preconceptions of the greatest number and thus encourage the most doubtful to discover this art.
