The Magenta Quartet is a young string quartet founded in 2020 by four musicians with a passion for chamber music. All graduates of the CNSM in Paris, they studied at McGill University in Montreal, the Guildhall School of Music in London and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

In 2022, the Magenta Quartet was awarded 3rd prize in the Zukunfstsklang Award Stuttgart and was one of the quartets selected for the prestigious ARD competition in Munich. It was also a finalist in the Haydn Competition, the semi-final of which will take place in February 2023 in Vienna.

He has been invited to perform throughout France at the Festival International de Piano de la Roque d’Anthéron, the Festival des Instants de Grasse as well as in Switzerland, Germany and Italy. He is also collaborating with the flutist Julien Beaudiment for the recording of his next CD, to be released in 2023.

The Magenta Quartet is based in Paris where it receives advice from the Van Kuijk Quartet and Luc-Marie Aguera. It is a member of the European network Le Dimore del Quartetto, an aspiring member of the ECMA – European Chamber Music Academy and regularly participates in the Master Classes of ProQuartet – Centre Européen de Musique de Chambre thanks to the support of ADAMI. He is produced by Chapeau l’Artiste Production.
